The first grade enjoyed listening to Ed Vere talk about writing and illustrating his book Max the Brave and Max at Night. They even had a drawing lesson from Ed about how to draw his character, Max!

Seed Saving in the Garden
Yesterday we went out to the Crest View garden and had a lesson on seeds and where they come from. The students were able to find lots of plants that have gone to seed. We also talked about how seeds travel once they leave the plants. It was fun exploring in the garden!

Chromebook Time!
The first graders learned about how to use Chromebooks with their 3rd grade buddies. It was a lot of fun and the 3rd graders were super helpful!
